GWM Upstate Hike 🍂🤎

Escape the city for a day and immerse yourself in nature on a scenic hike at Anthony’s Nose! Join us for this fall foliage adventure in collaboration with @outyorkadventures, where you’ll meet fellow NYC ladies and enjoy the outdoors. 🍂🤎

To kick off the hike, we’ll provide each participant with a small starter pack, including electrolytes, snacks, and handy samples for the day. Be sure to bring your own lunch and water!

Please note that the registration does not include your train ticket, which will need to be purchased separately. Your sign-up grants you access to the group chat (link in the confirmation email) where we’ll be sending updates!

We’ll also be holding a raffle on the day of the hike where five lucky winners will receive a GWM-branded hat! 🎉

📍Meeting Point: East Balcony, Grand Central Terminal (Apple Stairs)

🕘 Meeting Time: 9:00 AM

🔛 Boarding Time: 9:20 AM

🚊 Train Departs: 9:50 AM

🚉 Destination: Manitou

🎟️ Train Ticket Price: $30.50 (round trip)

⏳ Travel Time: 1 hour, 15 minutes (one way)

🔙 Return Time: Around 6:00 PM (subject to group pace)

🗺️ Location: Anthony's Nose

😅 Difficulty: Moderate

🔝 Elevation: 892 ft (272m)

👣 Distance: 7 miles (11 km) - includes the walk from the train station to the trailhead

⏳ Hiking Duration: Approximately 3 hours (subject to group pace)

🚱 Important: There are no stores or restaurants in the area, so pack your lunch and bring plenty of water.
